Just Another Week in Year 6…

I cannot begin to say how hard the children have worked this week, how excellent they have been all week or how proud all the staff and school and I are.

The Year 6 SATs ran smoothly this week as the staff expected. The tests were fair and children remarked that the papers were ‘ok’ without being too hard or too easy. The papers will be sent off to be marked externally. School will receive the results in early July; shortly after this, children will be informed on how well they have done.

Aside from Year 6 SATs, children have enjoyed playing Danish rounders – an enjoyable, more inclusive version of rounders – with some children particularly excelling with their batting, throwing and catching skills.

Today, the children have enjoyed a film with some snacks as well as a range of tournaments in the afternoon.

Please rest and have an enjoyable weekend. The children really deserve it.

    Well done 6S!!
It sounds like you had a very fun filled day yesterday (Friday) which was very well earned after all the hard work and commitment you have put into your SATS tests. Keep up the good work 6S and keep happy
