Farewell Year 6

What a week we have had! An amazing sports day kicked the celebrations off in style and even though it was incredibly hot, the children pulled out some amazing performances. From Nuraniya’s perseverance in getting her bike out of the lock and into the race, to Aarav’s strong-man style with the tug-o-war, it really was a brilliant beginning to the week with 6S demonstrating many of the qualities which are so important to Farfield life.
Our leaving assembly on Tuesday was attended by so many parents and carers so thank you for being there to see the children receive their certificates. We even had some children checking in from home during self isolation! Of course, there have been some tears this week as the children say goodbye to their friends and what has been an amazing primary school experience for all of them.
Thank you for being so very supportive of them and of us. We are so very proud of them all and wish them nothing but the best for their futures. We know they will all do very well. And so that is it! We wish you a safe and happy holiday and hope that the children come back to see us when they get settled in their new schools. We hope you enjoy some of the photos we have taken from this week and a small video we made of our memories this year.
Thank you for all of your support this year and for the wonderful gifts and cards received. Hope you have a lovely summer!
