The Highwayman – Letters of Complaint
Recently, we studied the Highwayman by Alfred Noyes. We paid particular attention to the themes the poem contains – take a look at the tagxedo horse as it gallops along. Can you pick out some of the themes the poem touches upon?
In response to the poem, we have written some letters in role as Bess’ father. He is justafiably outraged by the behaviour of the King’s men and demands justice for the death of his beautiful girl.
