SATs and Worries

Wednesday 26th April | 8 comments

Over the last couple of weeks, we have done lots of PSHCE work on worries. The children all expressed worries they have about the exciting/scary things that are coming up: residential, SATs and moving to high school.

We came out with some key learning:
– Everyone worries and it is completely normal.
– Lots of people have the same worries as you.
– It’s important to express yourself and say when you’re not ok.

Have a look a this video (you may have seen it before) and think about what it means to you.

    Hello 6T.

It’s reassuring to know that everyone has worries isn’t it? It’s a normal part of life. The important thing is that you manage those worries properly and don’t let them stop you from being the brilliant children you can be!

I just wanted to wish you all well with those pesky little tests next week. I know you’ll all put the maximum effort in and that’s all anyone asks of you. I’ll be thinking of you all! I still miss you all too, but I know Mr T is doing a wonderful job looking after you 🙂

    Dear 6T,
I just wanted to wish you all the very best for the upcoming SATs. Remember to take a few deep breaths before you start to get your brain running, and this can help turn the stomach wobbles into focused energy!

Apologies for not posting on your blog before but I am the School Governor linked to your class, I hope to pop by class and say hello this week if I have a chance!

Be epic and hope to see you soon!

  7. Miss Bradley says:

If you weren’t worried, it would be worrying! Being worried shows you care – it shows you are human!

  8. Melody says:

I liked to know that other people have the same worries as me and I’m not the only one.
