## Mr Harris’ maths 20th March

We are working hard on our revision programme. We have been looking at money problems this week; I thought the children found this rather challenging but with a bit of extra time and prompts, they did well. We explored ‘value for money’ type questions in real-life – did you know that Asda’s Family six-pack of baked beans is currently really bad value compared to their four pack? We did another mental practice paper and the group’s average score went up again by 0.5 points. We finished the week with some rather rushed recapping of fractions and the homework is a lot of related practice questions. Next week, we will complete another full SATs practice paper: can they all reach at least 4A, with more reaching level 5? Here is a quick ‘rough’ revision video to help:
