Mr Cooke’s maths 30th January


This really was the last week that the children spent working on fractions!

We have consolidated and extended our understanding of equivalent fractions. We have ordered fractions from smallest to largest. We have matched equivalent fractions to their decimal partners. Finally, the children have been adding and subtracting ‘like’ fractions and one or two children attempted doing this with ‘unlike’ fractions.
