Jasmine makes mistakes while finding the perimeter of compound shapes
Jasmine was able to find the area of compound shapes with a good degree of accuracy. However, when it came to finding the perimeter (the distance around the outside of the shape) she kept getting things wrong!
With some time to look at her work and a bit of teacher feedback, she spotted her mistake. She couldn’t wait to share it with the world on the blog. You find the perimeter or distance around the outside of the shape. You do not include any of the dimensions you may have included inside the shape.
