Georgia asks a question that none of us could answer!

3

In our recent Guided Reading work, we were making up our own comprehension questions for an information text about Anglo Saxons. One of the harder types of question is an “Imagine you were…” question.

To make up this type of question, you have to find hints in the text for the reader to look for when answering the question. This type of question tests the reader’s ability to find  hints in the text and then use their knowledge and understanding to create a short paragraph about a particular thing.

Take a look at Georgia’s question. At first it looks like a super question. The only problem was, there were no hints in the text that the reader could find to answer it! It was an unanswerable question!
